After looking at endless menus for local pubs and restaurants we weren't disappointed with the Eagle's. Really good food and whilst the butchers block meats aren't the biggest cuts, they're super tasty and a top recommendation.
Very enjoyable evening... chips were a little too salty... but that's the only fault I could find with it... all in all, a great evening spent with family over a delicious plate of food
The service is always great here, staff are funny and friendly. I've ate here quite a few times and never had a bad meal. Tonight we had the sharing board with the additional ham hock bites, I would definitely recommend this! Even if you want to pop in for a drink, there is a bar area which is comfortable with a working fireplace in place.
Food was absolutely spot on really enjoyed it. The kitchen is visible from some areas and you can hear orders being called in and out very well organised. Service was good and the place is spotless.
Really recommend here, we come for food a few weeks ago and was so impressed we choose to come back. Amazing atmosphere, for couples family’s and friends it suits everyone, great food and great service your not waiting long for anything and the quality of food is very good. My grandma had quite an accident last year and this is the first time she’s been out of the house since the end of 2024. She was beaming the whole time and so impressed with the fish platter (she can be quite picky) I cannot thank-you enough for the best birthday! Nothing to fault at all the food was so tasty and brought as soon as it was ready the girls serving food were so polite and all of them looked on the ball. Thankyou for a lovely night yet again.
Took 20 guests for lunch today. The room was smart, gorgeous furniture. Service was swift and efficient, very friendly. Superb food. Will deffo be going again
